Condition Improvement
Fund
CIF provides annual capital funding to help eligible schools and sixth-form colleges address condition needs, improve building safety and keep facilities compliant and fit for purpose. It is commonly used for projects such as roofing, heating, safeguarding, compliance and essential building fabric works.
School Rebuilding
Programme
The School Rebuilding Programme supports major rebuilding or refurbishment projects for schools and sixth-form colleges with buildings in very poor condition, where significant long-term investment is required. It is focused on sites where rebuilding or major refurbishment is likely to be the most appropriate solution.
Urgent Capital
Support
Urgent Capital Support is for serious building condition issues that pose an immediate risk to health and safety or could result in the closure of all or part of a school. It is intended for urgent situations that cannot wait for the next suitable funding round.
Post-16 Capacity Fund
Post-16 Capacity Funding supports eligible education providers to create additional space for 16 to 19 learners where there is expected demographic growth and existing capacity is not sufficient. It can help fund new or improved teaching spaces, specialist facilities and wider estate changes needed to accommodate additional students.
Salix
Salix funding supports public-sector organisations with decarbonisation projects, including low-carbon heating and energy-efficiency improvements that help reduce carbon emissions across their estate. It is particularly suited to projects replacing end-of-life fossil-fuel heating systems with more sustainable alternatives.

We will need to begin arranging surveys and gathering evidence to support the bid.

2 - Quotations
We will create a tender pack to send to contractors. We get a minimum of 3 quotes over a 4-week tender process.

3 - Bid Writing
We work with you to create a strongest bid we can, getting any additional evidence as necessary.

4 - Submit
Once you have signed off on the completed bid, we will submit it on your behalf.

5 - Post-Submission
We will keep an eye on the results. Once your bid has been successful, we would love to discuss any project management services you might require.
Why Evidence Matters
Strong evidence is one of the most important parts of any funding application. It helps demonstrate why the project is needed, how urgent the issue is, and why the proposed works are the right solution.
A clear, well-supported application gives funders confidence that the project has been properly considered, accurately costed and can be delivered successfully. Evidence such as condition surveys, photographs, professional reports, maintenance records, incident logs and supporting letters can all help strengthen the case.
