Education

Education is at the heart of what we do, with a strong track record of delivering projects for schools, academies and trusts.

Why Education Specialists Matter

One of our education projects

Delivering projects within education required a detailed understanding of how schools operate from day to day. From safeguarding and site security to term times, exams and staff availability, projects must be carefully planned to minimise disruption and maintain a safe, fully functioning environment.

Experience in the sector makes a significant difference. Working within live school settings means coordinating with headteachers, estates teams and contractors, while managing phasing, communication and access to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently.

An understanding of education funding and compliance is equally important. Aligning project delivery with funding requirements and operational priorities helps ensure projects are not only completed successfully, but are practical, deliverable and suited to the needs of the school.

We Cover a Range of Education Types

  • Indoor children’s playroom and activity area with toys, furniture, and decorations, including a circus tent, bunting, small tables, and a play area with a carpet.

    Early Years

Early years projects are always rewarding, with each space requiring a different approach to reflect the rapid development of young children. We ensure environments are carefully tailored to support learning and development at every stage.

    Mainstream Schools

Mainstream schools are rewarding environments to work in, as the impact of each project can be seen in the everyday life of the school. Whether improving learning spaces, supporting staff or enhancing the wider site, we focus on creating practical environments that work well for pupils, teachers and the whole school community.

  • Modern brick building with black metal-framed glass extension on the second floor, supported by black columns. WMC Partnership logo and slogan "Bringing Projects to Life" visible at the top right.

    Post-16

Post-16 environments often require more strategic masterplanning, with larger, more complex sites and a student cohort that brings different considerations. The variety of projects within colleges means no two schemes are the same, and we continue to build on our experience with each one.

  • Curved library bookshelf with colorful books and a wooden floor.

    SEND

While we have always worked within SEND, there has been a significant increase in projects in recent years, which we see as a very positive development. These environments often have very specific and varied requirements, making them some of the most challenging projects to deliver. They are also the most rewarding, as even small schemes can make a meaningful difference for SEND students.
