Project Outcomes

Following a successful Urgent Capital Support bid, which secured £1.14m of funding, we supported the delivery of a major £1.15m refurbishment project in Wells. The works addressed a range of urgent condition issues, including roof maintenance, window and cladding replacement, fire safety improvements, concrete repairs and associated M&E works.

Delivered between June 2025 and March 2026, the project took place during term time and required careful phasing, planning and consideration of student safety. Now complete, the school has a safer, compliant building that will support its long-term use, while ensuring the urgent condition concerns identified through the funding application were fully addressed.
